Amia Sharesource allows me the confidence to go south and know that I have people in Winnipeg, looking after me. I know if something isn't right that information is being transferred to the clinic.

Remote Patient Management
Our SHARESOURCE remote patient management platform is a two-way, cloud-based telehealth technology widely adopted globally for home renal patients. Remote patient management?allows your healthcare team?to remotely monitor and manage your therapy from their clinic, which includes the ability to adjust your prescription to optimize therapy without the need for a clinic visit.?This added visibility to your home therapy also allows them to follow up with you?in a more timely manner if they have questions about your treatments. SHARESOURCE is featured with?our AMIA APD System.
Sharesource – Intended for use
The Sharesource portal is intended for use by healthcare professionals to remotely communicate new or modified treatment parameters with compatible dialysis instruments and transfer completed treatment data to a central database to aid in the review, analysis, and evaluation of patients' historical treatment results. This system is not intended to be a substitute for good clinical management practices, nor does its operation create decisions or treatment pathways.
Automated Peritoneal Dialysis with AMIA
There are two types of dialysis: peritoneal dialysis (done at home) and hemodialysis (typically done in a hospital or clinic). Automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) is a form of PD done by a machine, usually while you sleep so you can?carry on normal activities during the day. To help simplify your APD therapy done in the?comfort of your home, we designed the?AMIA APD system?with intuitive features, such as voice guidance, a touchscreen control panel and the SHARESOURCE remote patient management platform. AMIA's compact design also means it can be packed in a car or taken onboard an airplane, allowing you to conduct therapy when traveling for work or leisure.
Amia – Intended for use
The Amia Automated PD System is intended for automatic control of dialysate solution exchanges in the treatment of adult renal failure patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis.
All therapies using the Amia Automated PD System must be prescribed and performed under the responsibility of a physician who is familiar and well-informed about peritoneal dialysis.
